We completely understand that stepping into the world of pole dance for the first time can be intimidating. We want you to know that you have absolutely no reason to be scared. We are passionately committed to making pole dance an accessible and inclusive sport for everyone!

Here we want provide you the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about pole dancing. We want to ensure that you feel confident and informed as you embark on your pole dance journey.

1. No Basics Required.

Although most believe the opposite, there are absolutely no prerequisites or prior experience required to start pole dancing.

All you need is simply a touch of courage and commitment to learning, then we'll take care of the rest!

2. Is Pole Dance for Everyone?

YES! â€‹Pole dance isn't restricted by age and open to all genders. It celebrates diversity and embraces the unique styles and strengths that each individual brings to the art.

3. What Do I Need To Prepare?

A simple dress code is all you need: a comfortable t-shirt or sports bra and a pair of shorts. We kindly request that you remove any jewelry before joining our class to prevent potential damage to the poles. Additionally, we advise refraining from using body lotions or oils within 24 hours before your class. This is essential to ensure a clean, secure grip on the pole, promoting a safe and enjoyable experience.

4. Structure Of A Pole Dance Class.

In our pole class, we kick things off with a 15-minute warm-up session to prepare your body for the pole work ahead. Afterward, we delve into the world of pole tricks and figures, breaking down each move into manageable steps. We practice these steps until you've mastered them, and if a particular move proves too challenging, we provide regression options to ensure your progress.

Once all students are ready we weave these tricks and shapes together into a choreographed sequence set to music. Feel free to capture your dance journey recording videos of your pole performances! The last 5 minutes are dedicated to a cool-down and stretching session designed to restore muscle balance and leave you feeling rejuvenated.

5. Do You Have Any Advice For Plus Sizes?

​Pole dance is an incredibly inclusive sport that embraces individuals of all body types with open arms. It is a canvas for self-expression and empowerment, allowing anyone to shine. However, we believe in honesty and acknowledge that for those with larger body types, there may be some extra effort involved. We encourage our students to see it not only as a challenge, but also as an opportunity to explore your strength, grace, and capabilities in ways you might not have imagined! We have no doubts when we say everyone can do this sport and we're here to support you every step of the way, helping you overcome hurdles, break boundaries, and find the beauty in your unique journey!

6. How Often Should I Attend Classes?

We recommend starting with 2 or a maximum of 3 classes a week to allow your body to seamlessly integrate this exciting sport into your lifestyle. Overburdening yourself with more classes could prove to be too demanding initially. As you progress, we encourage diversifying your fitness journey by incorporating other classes such as strip plastic, exotic, or flexibility training. This combination not only adds variety to your routine but also promotes a well-rounded approach to your overall fitness and wellness goals.
